The
Willows Modern Art Gallery is hosting a
special
event honoring local artist, Ken Carson.
Mr. Carson’s black and white photography is very
familiar to the Willows’ community, and their local
celebrity is also revered as the world’s most important
fashion and celebrity photographer.
Tonight, Ken has asked his favorite “subject” model Barbie, as his
date to this special event. Dressed
especially for the “Black & White” party in his
honor,
Ken chooses a black wool suit and
black
accessories. In contrast, Barbie
choose a dramatic white fashion
with
white accessories.
Barbie
senses Ken is really nervous as they make
their entrance together into the gallery. She knows
he’s not comfortable being the center of attention,
like she usually is, as a famous fashion model. As
they make their way across the art space, the gallery
patrons greet
them with a thunderous round of applause.
Barbie gives Ken’s hand a tight squeeze. She knows it’s
going to be a “picture-perfect” evening!
